The 2023 Youth Circus Festival is FREE for Youth and Whānau!

The Festival
You are welcome to arrive at any point during the festival, but make sure you don't miss out on our highlights. The Friday starts off with a pōwhiri and is designed to get schools and youth groups involved, but does not exclude individuals.
Friday evening will have a fantastic show from our Workshop Instructors.
Saturday is packed with Workshops and a Youth Show organised by Circ.Us Youth. This Day is all about creating, connecting, trying, and flying.
Sunday has more Workshops and the Annual Meeting for our Circ.US Youth Representatives from a variety of established Circus Groups .
Accommodation
Bring your Camping Gear! We have the opportunity to use the Showgrounds as a Campground so you can stay overnight.
How to participate
There are a number of ways to participate:
- Attend in person, and enjoy the workshops and shows.
You can come as a Family , Group or Individuals (with parental allowance under 18) Fill in the Registration Form here!
- Join us online, we can send you a link - don’t forget to register before the festival!
How to get involved
- Perform at the Saturday Youth Show (12 to 24 year olds) Sign up by contacting northland.team@circability.org
- Become a Volunteer, and help with set up, pack down, or general running of the event. Sign up to be a festival superhero here!
Health and Safety. All Precautions will be taken to provide a safe space for everyone. Including but not limited to First-Aid trained staff, safety gear for risk based activities and police vetted tutors.
Disclaimer
We will provide a safe space for youth to learn and excel, which does not include 100% supervision. Please provide your own Caregivers/Parental allowance letter for everyone under 18 attending without an adult.
