Once called the ‘Beyoncé of NZ circus’, Eve has headlined Aotearoa's circus sector the last decade. They have taken stadiums by storm, been critically acclaimed, toured internationally and played many of Aotearoa’s largest venues.
In 2009 they founded the circus theatre company, school and charitable non-profit Dust Palace as a vehicle for the development of circus arts in Aotearoa. Eve has co-created all of the company's 22 shows, spent a decade running the organisation and are its current artistic director.
With a reputation for innovative and experimental work, Eve has specialised in many disciplines across the years, the most recent of which have been duo trapeze, duo straps and toss-the-flyer. They also perform chair stacking, whips, adagio, and various other aerial apparatus.
Across the last decade and a half Eve has also been a pou for the circus community, writing national guidelines in best practice and ethics and growing the national circus association. Their most recent academic endeavor was co-authoring Te Tomo - Māori Circus Pedagogy with Tainui Tukiwaho.
